REPLANET FUNDRAISING MANAGER
Contract: Full time permanent
contract with 6 month review
Description
The Fundraising Manager will apply creativity and an entrepreneurial spirit to raise funds and donations in support of RePlanet’s programs for the environmental community. The role is responsible for individual donors, individual giving, special events (logistics and fundraising), (corporate) sponsorships, and other direct fundraising activities as applying for dedicated grants.
Main responsibilities

Sustain and grow revenue from traditional development activities, including annual appeals, special events, major donors, and foundations. Responsible for executing an annual campaign with a goal of €150K in Year One.

Build and maintain the donor management system (TBA) and other software systems related to fundraising (e.g., Founderspledge, MailChimp, Stripe, etc.).. Ensure the timely preparation of donor acknowledgments and related routine communications.

Manage fundraising campaigns related to operations needs, including directly soliciting donations from new and existing donors together with Campaign directors.

Collaborate closely with the Secretary general, Fundraiser, Senior Campaign Manager and the Communications manager on implementing the 3-year fundraising strategy.

Supervise volunteers as needed and/or assigned.

Prepare periodic reports for Supervisory board regarding fundraising performance.

Work with the Secretary general and Fundraiser in relation to special events and fundraising projects throughout the year.

Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor(s) and/or senior management.

Skills required

Experienced (3+ years) fundraising professional in nonprofit settings.

Entrepreneurial, hit-the-ground running approach.

Bachelor’s degree required. Master's degree in a related field preferred.

Readily initiate and complete projects.

Make timely, effective, and ethical decisions.

Embody the entrepreneurial spirit.

Self-starter who crafts creative solutions and opens doors to new donor relationships.

Excellent communication, organization, and computer skills.

Extremely detail-oriented and able to multi-task in a fast-paced atmosphere.

Fluent in English (both spoken and written).
